Our projects.

Transportation and infrastructure work supported by EOS through construction engineering and inspection, project management, and owner’s representative services.

Selected work

Roadways, connected communities, and new ways to move.
  1. Aerial view of the SR 9 corridor in Alpharetta, showing multiple travel lanes, medians, and sidewalks.

    Project / 01

    SR 9 Widening

    GDOT District 7

    Alpharetta, Georgia

    Construction Engineering & Inspection

The $50 million SR 9 corridor improvement program spans approximately 3.6 miles from Upper Hambree Road to Windward Parkway in Fulton County. Reconstruction and widening to a four-lane urban cross-section are designed to improve safety and mobility. Improvements include a raised median, pedestrian and bicycle facilities, upgraded traffic signals, water main installation, utility relocation, drainage structures, retaining walls, and full-depth asphalt paving.

  2. Construction area with a steel canopy, equipment, and traffic barrels.

    Project / 02

    I-285 at Bouldercrest Road

    GDOT District 7

    Atlanta, Georgia

    Construction Engineering & Inspection

This $100 million project replaces the Bouldercrest Road bridge over I-285, reconstructs the interchange, and adds five new bridges and collector-distributor lanes between Bouldercrest Road and I-675. The improvements are designed to reduce congestion, improve pedestrian and vehicle safety, and accommodate growing commercial truck traffic.

  3. Concrete construction work with formwork, structural columns, and traffic barrels.

    Project / 03

    I-285 West Metro Corridor

    GDOT

    West Metro Atlanta, Georgia

    Construction Engineering & Inspection

GDOT's I-285 corridor improvement program includes three separate construction contracts for concrete slab replacement and pavement rehabilitation. The three-year, $370 million program rehabilitates more than 15 miles of the westside corridor, from Paces Ferry Road in Cobb County to South Fulton Parkway.

  4. Concept rendering of an autonomous shuttle station with covered boarding areas and a landscaped guideway.

    Project / 04

    Cumberland Sweep

    Cumberland Community Improvement District

    Cobb County, Georgia

    Owner's Representative Services

EOS provides owner's representative services for the Cumberland Sweep, a multimodal path of more than three miles designed for walking, biking, and an autonomous shuttle system. The program connects destinations including The Battery Atlanta and Truist Park to improve connectivity and reduce traffic. Its seven segments are managed separately, with the first segment planned to begin construction in 2027.

  5. Aerial design plan showing proposed intersection, roadway, and pedestrian improvements along Peachtree Boulevard.

    Project / 05

    Chamblee Doraville CID

    Chamblee Doraville Community Improvement District

Project Management & Owner's Representative Services

EOS supports the Peachtree Boulevard Intersection Realignment and Pedestrian Enhancements Phase 2 projects. The intersection work improves traffic flow, safety, and mobility through roadway and intersection improvements. Phase 2 adds and upgrades sidewalks and related infrastructure to improve pedestrian connectivity. EOS provides project oversight, design coordination, schedule and budget monitoring, and coordination with consultants, local governments, and other stakeholders from design through construction.

  6. Dedicated concrete guideway under construction beside a roadway, with fencing and lighting.

    Project / 06

    Automated Transit Network Pilot

    AACIDs

    Owner's Representative Services

The Automated Transit Network demonstration is planned for January 2027, connecting the ATL SkyTrain at the Georgia International Convention Center with Gateway Center Arena. Five autonomous vehicles will use a half-mile dedicated guideway, with connections to the arena, regional trailhead, and SkyTrain station. The free, on-demand pilot is planned to operate four days a week for up to eight hours a day, with an average trip time of 2.5 minutes and capacity for more than 400 rides per hour.
